Welcome to the School of Holy Spirit Blog. Here, I, Bishop Dr. Corletta J. Vaughn, share heart-to-heart teachings drawn straight from Scripture and my life's adventures with Holy Spirit. In this series, we'll dive into Living With The Advantage, exploring one transformative insight per chapter. My prayer is that these words stir your spirit, ignite your faith, and draw you closer to your divine Best Friend. Let's journey together - subscribe for fresh revelations and join our community of empowered believers.
Emotions are real, but they are not reliable leaders. When the soul interprets every situation through feeling, direction becomes distorted. Holy Spirit leads through the human spirit, not through emotional intensity. Order restores accuracy.
Spiritual clarity is not accidental. It is the result of internal order. When the human spirit leads in fellowship with Holy Spirit, life becomes less reactive and more precise. Clarity is not emotional intensity. It is the steady outcome of communion and discipline.
Many believers are not rebellious. They are exhausted. The exhaustion often comes from allowing the soul to manage what only the human spirit in fellowship with Holy Spirit was designed to carry. When order is restored and the spirit leads again, strength returns and clarity follows.
Many believers love God sincerely but still live overwhelmed, reactive, and unsure. The issue is rarely a lack of desire. It is often a leadership problem inside. When the soul (mind, will, emotions) dominates, clarity fades. When your human spirit leads in fellowship with Holy Spirit, direction returns, noise loses its grip, and daily life becomes navigable again.
Holy Spirit empowers believers not only to begin well but to finish assignments, seasons, and callings with strength, clarity, and faithfulness.
Living with the advantage is a daily, intentional partnership with Holy Spirit that governs decisions, posture, and purpose.
The greatest spiritual battle believers face is not external opposition but the internal struggle between the human spirit and the soul.
Worship is the primary practice that strengthens the human spirit and deepens communion with Holy Spirit.
Spiritual maturity requires understanding the difference between convictions, conscience, and personal preference—and allowing Holy Spirit to govern each.
Spiritual clarity is restored when believers quiet the noise of the soul and intentionally listen for Holy Spirit's leading.
